Scholarship Information


We try, at Conejo Crush, to make club volleyball available to all girls who sincerely want to play. But as costs continue to rise, and economic situations become more tenuous, we are faced with many difficult decisions. So, for the 2009 season, we have implemented a scholarship application process which will help us to make informed, objective decisions.

Scholarships for the 2009 season will only be awarded to players/parents who complete the application process before the deadline, and will be based on the following criteria:

Financial need
Seniority in the club
Number of siblings in the club

Please be aware, we do not provide full scholarships except in the most rare circumstances. Families are expected to contribute what they can, and players must be fully committed to attending all practices and tournaments, regardless of other extracurricular activities.


To Apply for Scholarship

1. Download and complete, with both parents' signatures, the scholarship application. Application
2. Attach a copy of last year's federal tax return, from both parents. Applications will not be accepted without this.
3. Mail both forms to the Scholarship Committee, Conejo Crush VBC, 651 Azalea St., Thousand Oaks, Ca 91360, before the following deadlines:
10/18/08 for players on the 12-14s teams
11/15/08 for players on the 15-16s teams

We will review all requests and notify award recipients of their scholarship amount, prior to the due date of their first Crush payment.
